Volume Reading Intensive
Four-week studio workshop on reading volume bars, effort versus result, and quiet absorption before impulse moves.
Who it is for
Active swing and position traders who already keep a journal and want sharper volume analysis — not beginners hunting their first setup. Ideal if you trade UK and European equities, major FX pairs, or index futures and feel price alone keeps misleading you at apparent breakouts.
Result you leave with
You will mark accumulation, distribution, and absorption zones on your own charts with a repeatable checklist, and you will know which participation clues to ignore when the tape is noisy.
What is included
- Eight live studio sessions (90 minutes each), capped at eight traders
- Pre-session chart homework reviewed on shared screens
- A printed volume-reading workbook with annotated UK market examples
- Two office-hour slots for questions between weeks
- Access to anonymised peer chart packs for the cohort
What is not included
Broker accounts, trade execution, personalised portfolio management, or live “call” alerts. This is training only.
Provider & approach
Sessions are led by FieldCore tutors who have taught volume-centric tech analysis in Manchester since the studio opened. We favour Wyckoff-influenced effort-versus-result language and modern tape context without drowning the room in indicators.
Process
- Week 0 — enrolment call, instrument list, sample charts from you
- Weeks 1–2 — raw volume prints, relative volume, climactic vs. drying activity
- Weeks 3–4 — participation at levels, absorption fingerprints, case reviews of your open watchlist
- Close — personal reading checklist and optional follow-on mentorship path
Preparation
Bring 8–12 recent trades or watchlist events with volume visible. Dual monitors help but a single large screen is enough. No proprietary software licence is required; we work from standard chart packages you already use.
Constraints
Evening cohorts run Tuesday and Thursday, 18:30–20:00. Places are limited to eight. If fewer than four enrol, we may reschedule the start date and refund deposits in full.
